What types of natural stone objects do you supply?

We develop compact natural stone objects for global wholesale, customization and small-batch OEM. The current collection includes desktop display objects, small sculptural objects, decorative vessels and bowls, bespoke stone surfaces, valet and scent trays, and keepsake boxes.

Are the products in stock?

The current collection contains concept designs and custom production references for made-to-order development. These are not ready-stock listings. Material availability, exact veining, sample requirements and production timing are confirmed for the project before quotation and production.

Can I send my own sample, drawing or reference image?

Prototype timing is confirmed per project after material and technical review. No account is required. Send a JPG, PNG or PDF reference by email or WhatsApp, and we will review the material, dimensions, finishing and shipping requirements.

How does natural stone vary from the images or samples?

Natural stone is a geological material. Each slab may vary in tone, veining, movement, mineral inclusions, pores and surface character. A small sample is a reference, not a guarantee of an identical full-size pattern. Final selection is confirmed against an approved sample, slab or agreed material range before production.

Is an exact color or vein match possible?

We can select materials with similar color, movement and veining, and we can control the cutting direction and layout where practical. Exact replication cannot be guaranteed because every natural slab is unique.

Do you provide samples?

Yes. Samples can be produced for qualified projects. Sample fees are quoted according to the stone, size, processing, finishing and packaging requirements. Where agreed in advance, the sample fee may be credited against a subsequent production order.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom stone items?

MOQ depends on the product design, stone type, finish, customization level and packaging method. Sample, trial, wholesale and volume orders are quoted for the specific product. Mixed styles and colours are subject to an agreed product mix. See our MOQ and tiered pricing guidance for reference quantities; final terms are confirmed in your quotation.

How does your MOQ and tiered pricing work?

MOQ depends on the product design, stone type, finish, customization level and packaging method. The following tiers are reference points for standard small natural stone objects:

Order TypeTypical QuantityOrder TermsPricing Basis
Sample Order1–2 pcsFor material, colour and finish confirmation. Courier freight collected.Sample quotation
Pilot / Trial OrderTypically 50 pcsMixed styles and colours may be combined subject to an agreed product mix.Trial wholesale quotation
Standard Wholesale OrderTypically 100 pcsMixed styles and colours may be planned before production.Wholesale unit quotation
Volume Programme300+ pcsCustom shapes, logo engraving, special packaging and material allocation can be assessed.Project-based volume quotation

For irregular shapes, carved designs, matched stone patterns, complex engraving or new tooling, the MOQ may be adjusted to approximately 80–100 pieces or quoted separately.

Customers may select from available stone colours and patterns. Mixed styles and colours are possible, but the final mix is confirmed according to material availability, production efficiency and order complexity.

All products are made to order. Final pricing is confirmed after reviewing the product reference, dimensions, stone selection, finish, logo requirements, packaging and destination.

These quantity tiers are for reference only and are not an automatic price list. Contact DeHong Stone for a product-specific quotation.

Indicative pricing

Standard small natural stone objects are quoted according to material, finish and quantity. Wholesale pricing is normally calculated at the 50–100 pcs level. Samples, rare stones, custom shapes, logo engraving and special packaging are quoted separately.

Can I order only one piece?

One-off samples and prototypes are possible. They are quoted separately from production orders because development, material preparation and packaging costs are different.

Can you customize dimensions, shapes and finishes?

Yes. We can review custom dimensions, profiles, edge details, openings, surface finishes, stone direction, packaging and other project requirements.

How are small orders shipped?

Samples and compact orders may be shipped by international courier. Multiple pieces may be consolidated or shipped by LCL when this is more economical. The recommended method depends on packed dimensions, total weight, destination and delivery terms.

How are products packaged?

Protective export packaging is developed around the approved prototype and shipping route. The packing method, carton or crate details, and shipping terms are confirmed before dispatch. Natural stone can be damaged in transit. Protective materials, actual packed weight and any transit-testing requirements are reviewed before dispatch.

Are duties and taxes included?

Shipping, customs, duties, taxes and delivery terms are quoted according to the destination and agreed Incoterms. The final quotation will clearly identify what is included and what is excluded.

What is the production lead time?

Lead time depends on material confirmation, design approval, sample requirements, quantity, finishing and packaging. A project-specific schedule is provided after the quotation and technical details are confirmed.

Who does DeHong Stone work with?

Your brief / Your sample / Your decision

Seven questions for a clearer stone project

Start with the short answer, then expand the project considerations before preparing your brief.

Q: What information is needed to quote custom natural stone accessories?

Short answer: Share the intended use, reference images or drawings, dimensions, preferred stone and finish, estimated quantity, packaging requirements and destination.

Project considerations

Identify the dimensions that affect fit, the objects the accessory will hold and any logo, lining or separate components. If the material or quantity is undecided, explain your priorities so that options can be evaluated. DeHong Stone reviews the brief before confirming feasibility, sample requirements and a project-specific quotation. Website references are starting points for custom development, not a ready-stock catalogue.

Q: Can a small-batch order of custom marble accessories be evaluated?

Short answer: Yes. Send the design, actual marble requirement and proposed quantity for review. A minimum order is assessed for the project rather than assumed for every design.

Project considerations

Material availability, usable yield, shape, processing steps and separately sourced components affect the assessment. List quantities for each design and material when proposing a mixed order. A prototype is quoted separately from a production batch; approve the sample and written specification before confirming production terms. Reference tiers in our MOQ guidance do not guarantee the same minimum for all accessories.

Q: How can oil-staining risk be reduced on honed marble display bases?

Short answer: Evaluate the actual marble, proposed surface treatment, liquids and cleaning routine on representative samples before approving a honed marble display base for perfume.

Project considerations

Include the fragrance or oil that may contact the base, likely contact duration and the cleaner intended for daily use. Agree a sample trial and acceptance criteria for appearance after exposure and cleaning. A honed finish alone does not establish stain resistance, and sealing should not be treated as a stain-proof guarantee or protection from every chemical interaction. Consider contact protection where the display design allows it.

Q: What affects the sample lead time for custom stone objects?

Short answer: Drawing approval, material availability, design complexity, separate components and the required sample checks affect the timing. Confirm the schedule after reviewing the project.

Project considerations

Identify unresolved dimensions, material choices and finish decisions in the first brief. A design with a fitted insert or another supplied component may require coordinated review before the sample can be assessed as a complete object. Leave room for agreed revisions and any use-specific checks. DeHong Stone confirms an estimated sampling timeline for the defined scope; a universal number of days is not assumed.

Q: How should packaging be evaluated for small stone objects shipped internationally?

Short answer: Start with the actual dimensions and weight, vulnerable edges or separate parts, shipping method and required transport checks. Evaluate the proposed packing around the approved object.

Project considerations

Review surface separation, restraint and cushioning for the piece and any removable lid or accessory. Confirm the packed dimensions and weight before comparing courier or consolidated shipping. Agree whether representative shipment or packaging tests are needed and how results will be assessed. Workshop packing photographs show an arrangement, not a test result; no packing method establishes a zero-breakage guarantee.

Q: How do marble and travertine compare for hotel bathroom accessories?

Short answer: Compare the specific stone samples, surface treatment, visible pores or filled areas, cleaning compatibility and appearance for the intended bathroom use.

Project considerations

For a vanity tray, describe splash exposure, the toiletries it will hold and the actual cleaning products and routine. Review absorption-related behaviour, surface maintenance and any pore filling through samples or suitable material information. The names marble and travertine alone do not prove waterproofness, stain resistance or hygiene performance. Approve the material and finish together with the required use and cleaning checks.

Q: How are dimensional tolerances agreed for custom stone accessories?

Short answer: Mark critical dimensions, fits and assembly requirements on the drawing, then agree feasible tolerances and inspection methods through technical review and sampling.

Project considerations

Distinguish overall size from the features that must fit another part, such as a recess, lid or insert. State the drawing revision, measurement references and any mating-component information. The stone, remaining sections, shape and finishing steps affect what should be reviewed. Record the accepted requirements with the sample and production specification; one prototype or a general process description does not establish a universal numerical tolerance.

For the buyer / Project guidance

What should an approved sample record include?

Record the agreed product, material range and packing details before production.

Keep the drawing revision, dimensions and tolerances, finish, acceptable natural variation, logo placement and intended use together. Confirm actual net weight, final carton dimensions and actual packed weight after the prototype is made and packed. A new stone or design change may need another review.
