Develop a stone surface for your brand detail
Start with the message and its setting
A compact stone plaque, presentation tile or tabletop surface can give a brand detail a defined place. The current references include rectangular and arched plaques, a slotted card surface and a recessed key-card direction. Begin with what the piece will present and how a person will approach it. Share the artwork, card or object dimensions and intended viewing position. These are small tabletop development references, not evidence of an installed sign system or a completed hospitality project.
Review the face, slot and remaining section
A broad blank face, narrow slot and shallow recess require different drawings. Mark the usable area and any features that must fit another object, then review the remaining stone around them. For a slot, supply the actual card or insert details; for a recess, confirm access and clearance on the prototype. Thin edges and any fixing requirement need project-specific assessment. Do not assume a proposed reference dimension establishes a universal cutting tolerance or a tested mounting method.
Match the material to the artwork
Golden Blue Onyx, cream travertine and marble are among the proposed directions in this series. Confirm the exact stone, cutting area and acceptable pattern variation. Veining and pores can influence where lettering or a logo reads clearly. Discuss honed versus polished finish, edge softening or a proposed chamfer, and the intended engraving position. Artwork contrast, engraving depth and edge condition should be reviewed on the chosen material through sampling before the brand detail is approved.
Send a complete tabletop brief
For custom stone plaques or small-batch branded accessories, send the intended use, reference images, drawing, artwork, quantity and destination. Identify whether the piece lies flat, holds a card or requires a separately assessed support. Agree surface-contact protection and individual separation before planning mixed cartons. The approved sample and written specification provide the basis for production, rather than the website image alone.
